LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Saturday vowed to end status quo and break the chains of cruelties at any cost in the province.
Talking to journalists at his office, CM Usman Buzdar claimed that the provincial government is making record legislation for the welfare and development of the people.
He said that they will present their 100 days performance before the people and will apprise them about their priorities and the five year plan.
According to a statement released from the ministry, the chief minister said that the development of Lahore was confined to one area only, and they will also bring a mega project for Lahore.
The issue of drinking water will also be resolved and the people will see change soon, he said and added that land worth billions of rupees have been retrieved during the operation against encroachments.
CM Buzdar said, “This is his responsibility to give protection to farmers of sugarcane. The crushing season has been delayed but the Punjab government has itself taken measures in this regard.”
He said that the work regarding wheat crop has started and the agriculture policy will be announced soon to provide relief to farmers.
The CM maintained that the administration has been issued directions to control price hike and a warning has been issued to the administration regarding the control of prices.
Development will not remain confined to one area, he said and added that the government has made a policy of balanced progress.
The Punjab CM said that the performance of ministers is being monitored and maintained that a commission has been made for police reforms.
