According to Express News, there is a continuous decline in the value of Pakistani rupees compared to the US dollar and increase in American dollar worth of Rs 6 rupees in the bank has lifted it up to Rs 128.
On the other hand, the increase of 5 Rupee 60 paisa in value of British pounds in the Interbank market has caused it to stop at 165 rupees 8 paise. Besides this, the value of Euro rose by Rs 4.43 paise and stopped at 145 rupees 72 paise.
The high inflation of the dollar has also made a bad impact on the stock market, PSX Hundred index of the week’s trading day saw a decline of over 600 points. Hundred index fell at least 40,000 and 39,000 on the same day.
It is clear that in the past seven and a half months, the value of the dollar in Interbank has been recorded as an increase of Rs 20 and 30 paise. On March 30, 2018, the value of the dollar in the Inter Bank was 115 rupees 50 paise, which today has increased to 125 rupees 50 paise.
