Saudi Arabia arrests 17 people in connection with conspiracy against the state

According to Arab media, 17 people, including 7 women, were arrested in connection with conspiracy against the state in Saudi Arabia and having links with enemy countries. 8 people, including 3 women, have been temporarily released after the inquiry.

The statement issued by the Public Prosecutor Office said that 17 people were arrested in connection with conspiracy against the state and to blame the enemy on the previous day. These people have been arrested from different parts of the country. After the investigation of five men and three women, the investigation has been temporarily dropped, while 5 other men and 4 women who have confessed to crime are still detained.

The detained suspects are accused of working for country-run organizations and to recruit their loyal people in sensitive institutions to access the secret information of the state.
